Welcome to Garth
Face to Face
New exhibition at Nevill Hall Hospital by Toril Brancher.
Garth are proud to present work made by the artist Toril Brancher and local young people in a project funded by Arts Alive.Face to Face was made over a two year period, in which Toril Brancher approached Abergavenny’s young people, inviting them to consider the way in which they are perceived by older generations in the community. Pose and location were discussed before the chosen photographic moments were collaboratively recorded with the use of a medium format camera and a long shutter release.
The work has been seen before at the Abergavenny Waitrose Café earlier this year.
