On Display: Debbie Strickland

April 2019

Debbie Strickland - BlackworkWe’re delighted to have the careful and delicate embroidery of Debbie Strickland on display in our cabinets at Nevill Hall Hospital.

“I did a course at the Royal school of Needlework in Blackwork after many years of working on cross stitch. I did this after finding a picture in a magazine that i wanted to make for a friend’s 60thbirthday that I completed with success”

Debbie Strickland - Blackwork“I also started machine sewing classes and complete a number of craft projects each year.

I have made wedding pillows since 1999 after making one for my nephew’s wedding. Sending a number of them across the world they are requested only by word of mouth.
