Art at Nevill Hall Hospital

Feb-April 2021, Main Out-patients waiting area, Nevill Hall Hospital

Connections: Nature, Growth and Wellbeing

An exhibition of work by Creative and Therapeutic Arts BA(Hons) Students, USW.

USW students Connections exhibit

This exhibition is the result of second year Creative and Therapeutic Arts students responding to a real-life brief from arts, health and wellbeing charity Gwent Arts in Health (Garth).

The students have responded to the theme of ‘Growth’ to create an exciting collection of original artworks. The exhibition is interested in the relationship between healthcare and the natural world – both the medicinal properties of plants and how natural environments can provide a space for healing and wellbeing. Students took a particular interest in their research in the diverse voices of NHS staff working at St Woolos Hospital, the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and beyond.
